About Us
The University Players is a student theatre group on campus that complements the academic program of the Department of Theatre and Dance (DTD) and enriches student life with opportunities to participate in and view the arts. Players produces student-designed, directed and performed productions; works with the DTD to educate Players members; sponsors student theatre on campus; provides leadership opportunities; cultivates skills in technical theatre and performance; and coordinates the participation of its members as performers, designers, and crew on DTD and student productions. Players supports its members in community engagement efforts and offers opportunities for artistic students to bond and socialize.
