The Senior Legacy Campaign is a student-led philanthropic tradition that invites seniors to make their first gift to Richmond in celebration of their journey and the experiences that mattered most to them. The Arab Student Association is a space for both Arab students and non-Arab students interested in Arab culture and the Arabic language to meet and experience Arab culture through weekly meetings and large Arab Student Association-sponsored events each semester. Our weekly meetings typically consist of updates about the club, Arab news, and casual discussion while our larger biannual events consist of celebrating Arab culture through hosting a large Arab dinner party with Arab food and music for all who attend. We are also planning to host more medium-sized events this upcoming year such as monthly Arab movies nights where the club gets together to watch and discuss Arab films. Additionally, depending on the COVID-19 situation, we hope to host small excursions to the Arab bakery and other places in Richmond to explore the Arab influence locally. All students interested in the Arab world, regardless of ethnicity or area of studies, are welcome. Reach out to me by email if you have any questions. Ballet Club intends on adding to the campus dance community by providing an outlet for students interested in practicing classical ballet. The club is open to students of all dance experience levels; the club seeks to give students with previous ballet experience the opportunity to continue dancing and to teach technique to any beginners who want to learn ballet. This organization contributes a unique culture to campus because there are currently no other dance groups that focus specifically on classical ballet and the non-exclusive membership fosters community amongst artists of all backgrounds.

Welcome to the BARK Club page! The goal of BARK Club is to help students get connected to local Richmond animal shelters to volunteer. We currently work with Richmond SPCA and Richmond Animal Care and Control. Students volunteer at least 2 hours a month at the shelters predominantly with dog walking but some volunteers also take dogs on outings, runs, help with clean-up and admin work, or assist with cat care! Both shelters are around 20 minutes away so for students without cars, we help organize transportation with another volunteer.

We also host fundraising events to raise money and awareness for the shelters. Our main event is an outdoor event in the spring with both pets and adoptable dogs. Please message us with any questions! We look foward to having you join the club!
