The mission of the BirdwatchUR club is to create an environment for people to learn and share knowledge about local birdlife through engagement both in the campus community and in the greater RVA community.

CricketUR, serving the University of Richmond, is committed to promoting cricket on campus by fostering a love for the game. The organization accomplishes its mission by providing regular training, organizing competitive events, engaging in community outreach, promoting inclusivity from diverse backgrounds in both social and recreational activities, encouraging health and fitness, hosting social activities, and building strong partnerships. CricketUR aims to promote cricket by providing opportunities for players of all skill levels to learn, play, and compete in a supportive and inclusive environment, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and community engagement. Our organization not only brings home to UR students from cricket-playing nations but also hopes to spread the sport of cricket to people who are curious about the sport but don’t have the opportunity to play the sport.

The Ecology and Conservation Organization, serving the University of Richmond, is committed to conduct club programs and activities to promote ecology and conservation on campus in the community and enhance the knowledge skills and abilities of members. The organization accomplishes its mission by:
● Providing opportunities for improved communication among individual members locally and with other student chapters, chapters, and The Wildlife Society. ● Fostering a sense of belonging and provide opportunities for approved communication among members, other student organizations, faculty, researchers, and professionals
● Augmenting the educational opportunities for students interested in ecology, conservation, and related fields at the University of Richmond
● Preparing members for future endeavors such as graduate school, internships, and jobs in wildlife biology, conservation, and management.
● Fostering ethical and legal conduct in research and practice.

We also will have guest speakers that are in the ecology and conservation fields. Members also enjoy the benefits of being a member in chapters of the Ecological Society of America, and Wildlife Society along with updates on jobs, internships, and graduate school

Our members would be able to listen to a variety of accomplished guest speakers in their respective field. We will have CISOs speaking, analysts, and Chief Risk Officers. Fellow CyberSpiders will have the opportunity to attend cybersecurity summits and conferences. Members of the club looking to pursue a career in cybersecurity will have a built-in network with cybersecurity professionals in the industry. CyberSpiders looking to enrich their knowledge/skills will be provided with various resources ranging from boot-camps to pre-certification training.
