Mission
Ballet Club intends on adding to the campus dance community by providing an outlet for students interested in practicing classical ballet. The club is open to students of all dance experience levels; the club seeks to give students with previous ballet experience the opportunity to continue dancing and to teach technique to any beginners who want to learn ballet. This organization contributes a unique culture to campus because there are currently no other dance groups that focus specifically on classical ballet and the non-exclusive membership fosters community amongst artists of all backgrounds.

The organization accomplishes its mission by providing regular training, organizing competitive events, engaging in community outreach, promoting inclusivity from diverse backgrounds in both social and recreational activities, encouraging health and fitness, hosting social activities, and building strong partnerships. CricketUR aims to promote cricket by providing opportunities for players of all skill levels to learn, play, and compete in a supportive and inclusive environment, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and community engagement. Our organization not only brings home to UR students from cricket-playing nations but also hopes to spread the sport of cricket to people who are curious about the sport but don’t have the opportunity to play the sport.

The Ecology and Conservation Organization, serving the University of Richmond, is committed to conduct club programs and activities to promote ecology and conservation on campus in the community and enhance the knowledge skills and abilities of members. The organization accomplishes its mission by:
● Providing opportunities for improved communication among individual members locally and with other student chapters, chapters, and The Wildlife Society. ● Fostering a sense of belonging and provide opportunities for approved communication among members, other student organizations, faculty, researchers, and professionals
● Augmenting the educational opportunities for students interested in ecology, conservation, and related fields at the University of Richmond
● Preparing members for future endeavors such as graduate school, internships, and jobs in wildlife biology, conservation, and management.

We also will have guest speakers that are in the ecology and conservation fields. Members also enjoy the benefits of being a member in chapters of the Ecological Society of America, and Wildlife Society along with updates on jobs, internships, and graduate school

Kapwa is a youth-led program that explores Filipino and Filipino American history in order to understand, engage with, and push for change around the concerns of the Filipino-American community. Our youth study the conditions, choices, and decisions of Filipinos during that time that have shaped the Filipino communities we see today.

We encourage them to explore various methods community members use to respond to the concerns of the Filipino American community throughout history. Such exploration will inform the implementation of their own community projects that continue to push for greater rights and welfare of Filipinos in the Philippines and in the diaspora.
