The purpose of the Thrive Multicultural Experience is to engage multicultural students as a collective. Students involved in Thrive will have the opportunity to build community, develop professional skills, and explore and cultivate their identities. Thrive’s goal is to equip multicultural students for their next adventure beyond the University of Richmond. The multicultural student experience is not a monolith and changes over time. This is why Thrive was developed as a collection of three different tracks; Orientation, Community, and Success. Each track is curated to cultivate, advocate, celebrate, and empower multicultural students throughout the different phases of their college experience.

URWell Peer Educators serve an important role at University of Richmond to engage their fellow Spiders in promoting healthy behaviors through outreach and educational programs.

URWell Peer Educators are trained in facilitation skills, active listening, and health promotion content areas such as: violence prevention (ex: bystander intervention, consent, healthy relationships, etc), sexual health, alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD), mental health, and more.

Our different programming initiatives throughout the year are: Healthy Sexuality Week (PleasureFest), OkSOBERfest, Wellness Wednesdays, and Self-Care Study Breaks.
