The purpose of the Eta Cast of Alpha Psi Omega is to stimulate interest in theatrical activities at the University of Richmond, to secure for the University all the advantages and mutual helpfulness provided by a large national honor society. The society bestows an honor on students by electing them to membership for the demonstration of a high standard of accomplishment in theatrical activities at the University. The cast is dedicated to the promulgation of the theatre wherever its influence may be felt.

The Arab Student Association is a space for both Arab students and non-Arab students interested in Arab culture and the Arabic language to meet and experience Arab culture through weekly meetings and large Arab Student Association-sponsored events each semester. Our weekly meetings typically consist of updates about the club, Arab news, and casual discussion while our larger biannual events consist of celebrating Arab culture through hosting a large Arab dinner party with Arab food and music for all who attend. We are also planning to host more medium-sized events this upcoming year such as monthly Arab movies nights where the club gets together to watch and discuss Arab films. Additionally, depending on the COVID-19 situation, we hope to host small excursions to the Arab bakery and other places in Richmond to explore the Arab influence locally. All students interested in the Arab world, regardless of ethnicity or area of studies, are welcome. Reach out to me by email if you have any questions. Welcome to UR BARK Club! Our goal as an organization is to volunteer at local Richmond animal shelters. We are currently working with three different shelters, including the Richmond SPCA, Richmond Animal Care and Control, and the Hanover Humane Society. Two of the shelters, Richmond Animal Care and Control and the Richmond SPCA, also have a running program where you can go on runs with the dogs!

Most students volunteer every other week, but depending on which shelter you volunteer at you can go as often as you'd like! Volunteers without cars are matched with other Richmond students who have cars depending on their availability so that everyone has a mode of transportation to the shelter. We also host fundraising events to raise money and awareness for shelter animals in need. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. We look forward to having you join the club!

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association accomplishes its mission by hosting Chinese festival celebrations for many years, such as the Lunar New Year Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, etc. Also, we engage in different cultural events on and off-campus, such as ChinaFest every year in Virginia and Asia Week hosted by the OIE office at the University of Richmond.

Choeur du Roi (Chords), founded in 1995, is the University of Richmond's oldest all-gender a cappella group. "Choeur du Roi" means "Choir of the King" in French and is pronounced like corduroy pants, which we all wear at our major performances. We've performed at multiple events for crowds of hundreds across the east coast and recorded several CDs. Most importantly, our collective passion for music and group chemistry bring us together and make Chords feel like a family. Overall, our aim is to put our best effort into our arrangements, practices, and performances, and have fun while doing it!

There are numerous ways in which people can engage with Counterculture, each offering unique opportunities. Writers work with editors to explore topics that they're passionate about at least once a semester, enhancing their writing, argumentation, and analytical skills. Members of the creative design team gain hands on experience with photography, Photoshop, and creating a cohesive visual theme for the publication. Additionally, those on the Executive Board develop leadership skills, including conflict resolution, teamwork, and effective time management.
