About Us
Welcome to UR BARK Club! Our goal as an organization is to volunteer at local Richmond animal shelters. We are currently working with three different shelters, including the Richmond SPCA, Richmond Animal Care and Control, and the Hanover Humane Society. Two of the shelters, Richmond Animal Care and Control and the Richmond SPCA, also have a running program where you can go on runs with the dogs! Most students volunteer every other week, but depending on which shelter you volunteer at you can go as often as you'd like! Volunteers without cars are matched with other Richmond students who have cars depending on their availability so that everyone has a mode of transportation to the shelter. We also host fundraising events to raise money and awareness for shelter animals in need. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. We look forward to having you join the club!
